  • The Verb - FAQs

What's love got to do with it? Who let the dogs out? Do you think I'm sexy? We get asked a lot of questions. Take a look below for just a few of the answers...

Q: Do you offer guest parking?  What is the fee?  Is the fee included in my room rate?
A: The Verb Hotel offers only valet parking for our hotel guests. As of January 1st 2017 the fee will be $48 per night with unlimited in/out privileges. This fee is subject to change and is valid through check out time only (11am). Cars left in the lot after that time will incur additional charges (up to $65 on event days). Some hotel packages may include parking, but unless indicated, the parking fee is not included in the room rate.

Q: When does the outdoor pool open/close?  Is it heated?
A: The outdoor pool is heated and is open 8am - 10pm daily from mid-April to mid-October, weather permitting.

Q: Do you have room service?
A: At this time, we do not offer room service yet, but our on-site restaurant, Hojoko, provides a take out menu. Orders should be placed at the bar.

Q: Do you have an elevator?
A: Our hotel has only two floors, and we do not have an elevator. However, our front desk and valet teams are more than happy to help you to your room with your luggage.

Q: Do you have any eco-friendly initiatives?
A: In an effort to be eco-friendly we will not change your sheets unless requested. If you are staying more than two nights and would like your sheets changed, please leave the "green" card on your bed. Simple as that!

Q: Do you offer laundry services?
A: We sure do! Ask the front desk about our same-day laundry services. We offer them every day except Sunday.

Q: What is with that hole in the shower door?
A: Our designers added the opening so you could reach the controls and adjust the temperature before entering the shower. If some water happens to splash out, just ring for housekeeping... extra towels are always at hand.

Q: And why is there no outlet in the bathroom?
A: Actually there is - we wanted to maintain the clean look of the bath furnishings so the outlet is tucked away on the side of the vanity.  No need for extension cords.

Q: Do you have pull-out couches in your rooms?
A: No, we do not have any pull-out couches, or rollaway beds.
