We’re all probably experiencing the post-holiday season blues, counting down the days till the next vacation. If snow sports are your thing, winters in New England aren’t so bad, in fact, you may even look forward to them. However, if you’re anxiously awaiting the end of winter, February can be an especially hard month. A short walk south from the Verb Hotel, lies one of the oldest buildings built in the Fenway area. In this building you will find the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. In 1901, a visionary woman named Isabella Stewart Gardner funded what was to become one of the most unique art museums built in Boston. Its Renaissance inspired architecture, breathtaking central garden courtyard and unique collection of art gives visitors an experience beyond imagination. Right as you enter the museum, you will feel as though you have been transported to a different time and dimension with the lush green garden, tropical trees and Roman statues.
