Front Row Feedback: Hear It from Our Fans!
Wonderful time made even better by Amazing Staff!
Came up to stay at the Verb for just one night over the weekend with my partner. We’re local(ish) but absolutely love doing a mini getaway once in a while to this spot. The rooms all have great decor, the beds are super soft, and the food at Hojoko is superb.
But what really makes this place somewhere we keep coming back to? The ‘resort like’ amenities and the amazing staff. The outdoor pool is SO much fun even in Boston January temps. There’s plush robes in every room to keep you cozy when you get out of the water. It happened to be very windy when we stayed, and Alex at the front desk, offered me a Verb beanie to help keep my head warm while in the pool. What a game changer!!!
Not only that, Alex was wonder in accommodating a room move request we had too; original room was right next to the stairs and we wanted something with a little less foot traffic. Alex was so easy about it! They’re truly a gem of a human!!
Fantastic family stay - highly recommend!
We stayed at this hotel in September with my husband and our two daughters (13 and 7), and it was truly a great experience. The location simply can’t be beat – so close to Fenway Park that you can hear the game which is fun.
The hotel itself was amazing, with a unique touch. Each room is themed and comes with a record player, which our daughters absolutely loved. The selection of records to borrow from the lobby was incredible – thousands of options! It was so much fun exploring new music together as a family.
Our room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The highlight for the kids was the outdoor pool, which is open year-round. Even though it was chilly in September, they were thrilled to swim in the warm water.
This hotel truly has something for everyone and exceeded our expectations in every way. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Boston.
Highly Recommend!
What an incredible experience staying here. The vibe was like none other. Every piece of the hotel made you feel like you were in a different world. The rooms were clean, the small touches of record players and getting to pick your own records to play in your room, the key fobs being backstage passes, breakfast, everything, I mean everything was incredible. Gabby was so kind, welcoming and helpful. She is a gem! We booked this without doing much research because we had a last minute wedding to attend, but we will absolutely be back!
The Verb is legit
This was my second stay at the Verb, a fun rock-and-roll-themed hotel near Fenway Park and the Museum of Fine Arts. My room was comfortable, spotless, and looked to have been renovated recently. My housekeep Claudia did a great job, and the breakfast attendants, Yoselin and Daniela, were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the live music performed by local music students ( Boston has some of the world’s best music schools), and a group dinner at Hojoko, the hotel’s Japanese/Latin restaurant, was both tasty and fun.
The Verb wraps around Ans outdoor pool, motel-style. I didn’t jump in this time, but noticed that a bunch of people were taking a dip after dinner last night, steam rising up from must’ve been very warm water on a chilly November evening.
I selected an old Eagles album from the record library in the lobby, brought it back to my room, and discovered a long-forgotten instrumental track on the B side that sounded so much better on vinyl then it does on Spotify.
I’m usually not a fan of team, hotels, but the Verb is legit. Three thumbs up.
Great Boston Hotel for Music Lovers
Great rock n roll vibe and memorabilia (I got lost in it walking the halls…), the trailers made for great private rooms, the staff (especially Carley and the breakfast servers!) were super helpful and friendly... Breakfast and in-room snacks and beverages were included no extra charge, a nice touch. Turntables in the rooms and a good vinyl collection at the front desk. Great location next to Fenway Park would prob be loud on a game or concert day, but a great atmosphere. A must-stay for music lovers staying in Boston.
Fun and High Quality One Night Stay
We booked at The Verb last minute for lodgings after a concert we were attending nearby at Brighton Music Hall. We’d never stayed at a themed hotel, but the experience was awesome! The Verb has amazing set dressing (like old fashioned radios and record players in your room or band merch around the hotel), but it doesn’t sacrifice quality, cleanliness, or service to present their cool theme.
Hotel staff were all super kind and helpful! Especially valet attendant Cisco, who ran to get our car through extremely cold wind, and receptionist Zara, who walked us through all of their amenities and when they were available.
We’d absolutely stay at The Verb again in a heartbeat.
Great rockstar experience.
My wife and I stayed in one of the backstage trailers for a romantic escape. What a fabulous experience it was. The customer service was over the top from everyone from valet to desk staff. You feel as though you’re a rockstar during your whole stay. Great clean accommodations and heated outdoor pool. The privacy of the backstage experience and great appointments inside, including turntable with available vinyl to listen too complete the experience. Cannot wait to stay again at such a fun place.
The Verb is it for me. I won't stay anywhere else in Boston.
This is my second stay at the Verb and I'll just say it, I am never staying anywhere else in Boston ever again. The staff is incredible and ready to help or just talk music with you. The amenities are awesome. (Come on - there is a record player in every room!) It's attached to one of the best restaurants in the area, Hojoko. Everything about this place is my style and I truly mean it when I say there have been few places in the world that I've stayed that match up to it or surpass it. If you are a music lover, this place is a must stay.
If you like a unique, funky boutique hotel, this is the place!
Wonderful hotel! Super friendly staff and great complimentary breakfast! It is conveniently located close to the T ( metro) and right next to the Red Sox stadium (Fenway stadium). The hotel has valet parking and a swimming pool. The hotel is a funky rock and roll boutique hotel. Every room has a record player and guests can choose among 2000 vinyl records. The rooms are very clean and modern. There is also a coffee maker in the room. Very nice ladies prepare toast, bagels or waffles for you and you can also have croissants, muffins, danish, fresh fruit, granola, oatmeal etc. They play great music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s!
Awesome vibe at the Verb
They have tons of incredible memorabilia everywhere. I stayed “backstage” in the Fleetwood Mac trailer, which had a delightful record player stocked with records and a sound system. The sound isolation between rooms was better than expected—I didn’t hear anything from the neighboring rooms. The Nespresso machine in the room and the Nitro tap in the lobby were nice touches for coffee lovers. Breakfast was also great, with a wide selection of bagels, spreads, waffles, cereal, yogurts, etc. Crisela was really passionate about making sure it was a five-star stay. Thank you!
Best experience ever! INCREDIBLE SERVICE!, amazing and very special hotel!
It was an amazing experience! The hotel is authentic and unique, and with that the most important part was the customer service that was provided by all the amazing people we interacted with while staying! I’m truly grateful for the good vibes always, for quick response and kindness, for trying to do the best possible thing!, for help!, thank you that you care more than expected! thank you for your patience!, thank you for your love!!!!! I really felt so good!, thanks to your energy towards me????????????. I think you are the sweetest team and i appreciate you all so much!
We recommend the Hotel to everyone! And we already know that one couple will come to stay at your hotel because they were very impressed by our experience, so they want it as well :)))
Staff & Location make this THE place to stay for a Fenway Concert
This was our third visit to the Verb but the first in the "Back Stage" trailers. What a fabulous experience! We were there for the Noah Kahan concert and we checked in early enough to be sitting outside our trailer, sipping a glass of wine and listening to the sound check at the immediately adjacent Fenway Park. While the rooms and trailers are great, it's the staff that really makes this place. Audrey the GM introduced herself as we checked in. Chris gave us the Back Stage tour providing interesting stories about famous musicians who have stayed there. Everyone who works there seems to be genuinely enjoying themselves and what they are doing.
Verb hotel experience
The Verb Hotel in Boston is a real gem with its cool, retro vibe and great location near Fenway Park. The rooms are stylish and comfy, and the whole place has a fun, lively atmosphere that guests really enjoy.
What really stands out, though, is the service. Crisela & Yoselin are often mentioned for being super friendly and attentive, always ready with great local tips and a warm smile.
Breakfast is another highlight. Crisela does an amazing job with the morning meal, whipping up delicious dishes like perfectly cooked eggs and fresh pastries. Her friendly demeanor makes breakfast a real treat.
Overall, the Verb Hotel scores high for its unique charm, cozy rooms, and top-notch service.
The Verb Rocks
We had a great time at the Verb with friends. I would like to thank the staff at the Verb. With a big Shoutout to Mackenzie, Jake and Carly and Julian from the road crew who I felt safe leaving my car with. Its the people who make a holiday special and the staff at the Verb are top notch!! We will definitely be back. Thank You
Fantastic hotel experience
Love this hotel. Great location next to Fenway, has a lot of cool funky quirks that make it a more original experience. Staff are extremely friendly.
Especially enjoyed jam session with Ryan, Gerry, and Craig! Great stay with added experiences and memories.
Great stay with exceptional valet!
Hotel was great! At the parking valet, Cisco and Amine went out of their way to make my check in relaxed and efficient. Patiently waited to allow me to check in and had my car ready right away every time I needed it! Real courteous professionals!
Best ever; dream staff; never staying anywhere but here in Boston again!
A bunch of coworkers and I were in Boston for a week for work, and an in-the-know colleague suggested we book the Verb… a trip-altering decision in the best way! I have never had the place I was staying completely MAKE a trip the way the Verb did. Loved the accommodations and amazing shower. Loved the staff who helped with everything we asked, always had time for us, and were constantly stashing waters all over the place. LOVED HOJOKO and their likewise incredible staff. We made ample use of the pool, the record library, the nitro coffee, and the hospitality of the Tom Hanks trailer. We also had great conversations with other guests because the energy is so good here! There were Red Sox games all week, but the sound wasn’t too much and we were still able to get around with the traffic. The main way it affected us is that we had a bunch of coworkers who went to the games come by after to get their photos in Tom Hanks’ trailer and congratulate us on booking a way better hotel than them. This is the only place I want to stay in Boston, and I can’t shut up about the Verb now that I’m back home! Thank you for everything, Verb staff—you made an intense week so much better! Pour out a nitro cold brew for me!
Highly recommend The Verb
Wow!! What a great experience we had at The Verb!! From the moment we walked in the hotel. The staff were all very, professional, pleasant, and very friendly. We were there for a Red Sox game & arrived early they let us drop our luggage off so we can go explore Boston. When we came to check in we were surprised that our room was upgraded to the Backstage Campers!! Zahra, explained all the amenities and history of the hotel. When we came back to our camper we were surprised again to find a bottle of wine, chocolates, Verb swag, and a nice note from Zahra & the Verb staff wishing my husband a Happy Birthday (we did let Zahra know that it was his birthday). The camper was so cool, clean, and very cozy!! It was so cool to see all the music memorabilia & a great selection of vinyl records to bring back to our rooms to listen to. Having the continental breakfast was great as well, not your ordinary continental breakfast, so many options to choose from. We will definitely be back again & highly recommend The Verb!! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!!
A Birthday Trip of a Lifetime
My husband booked The Verb for my 50th birthday trip. This place could not have done more to exceed my expectations!! From check-in (and finding out I was “Rockstar for the Day”) to valet to check out the staff was amazing, helpful, and friendly. Our trailer in the Backstage area was amazing, comfortable and I was amazed at the soundproofness of it! Right behind Fenway Park and we could BARELY hear anything while inside our trailer!!
Music I preferred was waiting in the room and the little details that really personalized the room for us were just so amazing. I really felt appreciated and comfortable.
The room was beautiful, clean, with a comfortable bed, pillows, and a relaxing atmosphere after busy days sight-seeing in Boston.
10/10 will return!
Thank you to Keya, Chris, Jake, Morgan and (I know I’m spelling this wrong) Demetrios for taking such good care of us!
Unique Stay
Hotel is clean and friendly. Staffed breakfast to prepare your waffles, etc. is a nice perk. Love the records to play in the room. One worry I did have was the music played would bleed into other rooms. I did not want to hear music from other rooms, but I never heard a peep from neighbors.
Staff assisted me in arranging a trolley tour of Boston. The free Nitro Coffee bar was top notch. They go a long way to make the stay a unique experience setting themselves apart from normal hotel practices. Also they are a short walk away from Fenway! Recommend highly.
The Verb = The Vibe
The bed is magical! Best sleep we had on our 2 weeks of travel around NY, CT, RI, and MA. Staff is super nice and accommodating. Hundreds of vinyls up for grabs to take to your room and jam out, room has Bluetooth speaker and a turntable. Breakfast was also very good! We will definitely be back!
Awesome hotel in perfect location - super friendly staff will make your stay unforgettable
Outstanding experience at the Verb Hotel.
The hotel is ideally located and walking distance from downtown Boston and a stone's throw away from iconic Fenway.
Hotel staff are welcoming and helpful and ensure you have an ideal stay by providing free water, great breakfast and even free vinyls :)The hotel is quiet despite the central location and the onsite restaurant is not only super convenient, but also very good. Can recommend 10/10
Great hotel, AWESOME people!!!
What an awesome hotel! Everyone was so kind to us and the room was really cool. Loved the record player and bath robes. A huge thank you to the Valets, especially Keya Bridges. We were so stressed driving through traffic and there was a concert next door at Fenway, but she took care of us and our rental car so we could get off the crazy streets. We will definitely stay here again!
Take your time and soak in the attention of detail. Museum quality rock n' roll exhibits
Simply the coolest place to stay in Boston. Every detail of the hotel is thoughtfully executed. The rooms are not just cool, they are perfectly appointed. A five-star hotel for anyone looking for something unique and focused on our rock n' roll past.
Great Customer Service
Outstanding customer service, particularly Ella at the front desk who made my wife the Rock Star of the Day! The Verb Team really went the extra mile to make our stay fun and memorable! The hotel has a great vibe and location next to Fenway. Also, every room has a turntable and the hotel has albums available at the hotel lobby. We will be back!
BEST HOTEL IN BOSTON
It was my 1st time staying at this hotel and the experience was amazing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Brian the valet gentleman saw me pull in and came right up to me politely introducing himself taking my keys and parking my car, he then grabbed me a luggage cart and removed my luggage from my truck and help me all the way to the front desk inside. The gentleman at the front desk:. Ryan I believe is his name was also very friendly and helpful..The room was so clean and the restaurant next door was so good. I will definitely be back here again and I will also be telling everyone about this Hotel.
Going above & beyond (Carley W.)
I'm so happy to share this amazing story. We stayed at the Verb two years ago when we were attending a Woods Brothers concert at House of Blues. I had purchased a vinyl record at the show and forgot it in the room. If you haven't stayed here before, The Verb has record players in every room where you can take records from the reception area to your room (so cool)! Anyways, I thought my record was gone for good but upon staying at the Verb again last night, I told Carley W., Front Desk Producer, about the record I left. It was a pretty specific album and she immediately recognized it and made it her mission to find it for me.
A Fun Alternative To The Big Chains
The Verb was the perfect home base for me, my friend and our 11 year old tweens. The rooms were cool and clean and comfortable. We loved the thick fluffy robes that were provided and the kids loved the pool. I was concerned that it would be loud, being just behind Fenway Park, especially when Guns and Roses were playing there, but it wasn’t too bad. We got to listen to some of the songs and it was all over by 11. I’m sure that’s a city rule. It is not a touristy area (which has pros and cons) but is close to great museums and good food. The T is not far either. Most importantly the staff was wonderful. From the people who checked us in to the women who prepared the yummy complimentary breakfasts, they were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Best hotel ever!
Well, what can I say about the Verb Hotel other than it's the best hotel on the planet. It was an absolute dream to visit here with my husband & our son for my husband's 30th Birthday. As soon as we arrived we were so excited to be surrounded by the most amazing music memorabilia & best vinyl collection in Boston! On top of this, the vinyls are free for guests to borrow & play in their rooms as every room has an awesome vinyl player to make use of during their stay which is a brilliant idea & meant we got to listen to so much awesome music.
Cool vibes at the Verb
Our stay here was fantastic! I only wish we had more time! Every inch of the hotel was decorated with colorful art and cool memorabilia. From the minute you walk in, you enter a different dimension of music... of all types...with Rock being at the forefront. Going through the bins of albums near front desk was like rummaging at the record store when I was younger. We had albums from every genre to pick from and play on the in-room record player. There was no detail left undone. The theme room was equipped with all the necessities - from funky robes, ready to wear to the outdoor heated pool, to the artist memorabilia on all 4 walls...it is just a great place for the music lover to relax. There was something cool to see around every corner! I'd be amiss not to mention that it was also impeccably clean and comfortable. Located just steps from Fenway Park and MGM music hall. I can't wait to go back - hoping to stay in one of the backstage trailers next! If you are a music lover like me, I highly recommend staying here!
Rocking' experience
My husband and I stayed one night in the Tom Perry trailer and it was awesome! We were attending the holiday WWE show at The Garden and celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were treated like VIP. From the moment we parked my name was on the hotel’s light up sign! Morgan walked us to our trailer she was great!! The trailer area was private and spacious. The trailer was so cool and comfortable and the best part we could listen to the vinyls in the room!! We had no idea what to expect, we had never heard of VERB but loved the whole experience and definitely want to come back!!
The staff will make you feel like a ROCKSTAR!
Amazing staff (big ups to Chris and Carley) fantastic service, fabulous rooms in a great part of town. I Returned for a second visit in December to find that I had been awarded the “Rockstar” for the day award. Staff upgraded me to a “Backstage” trailer, gave me a bunch of cool schwag and had me sign the Rockstar Guitar. Sent my sister there a few days after I departed for her trip for our family holiday and they also treated her like a Rockstar.
Upgrades and free gear are cool but, what sets this place aside is service and the people that provide it! I highly recommend a visit to The Verb. Also forgot to mention that there is a fantastic Izikaya restaurant attached to the hotel AND 3 other outstanding restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Also, Fenway Park is practically in the backyard so you have access to all the fun and excitement of that area on game days.
The Wonderful Verb Hotel!
I just spent 3 nights at The Verb Hotel in Boston, and it was fantastic! The hotel is so cute, clean and in a great area. We were able to walk to almost all the things we wanted to see (1 block from Fenway!), including lots of restaurants and bars. The decor is so entertaining (music posters, etc. everywhere) and we loved having the record player in our room, with so many great albums to choose from. The attached bar/restaurant was perfect for breakfast and a late night drink. But the best part about the stay was the staff! So helpful and friendly, especially Morgan, Mackenzie, Leo and Sean, who all went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and happy. We loved staying at the Verb, we'll definitely stay there again when visiting Boston.
NEW FAVORITE HOTEL!!!
I can’t rave about this hotel enough! If you are a music lover this is the hotel for you. Was attending a show at TD garden and stayed a night. So many cool aspects of music all throughout the hotel with even themed rooms. There’s even a list of all of the artists that have stayed at the hotel after their shows in Boston… so cool!!There was also a really cool live band around the pool area in the evening for everyone to enjoy. We stayed in the Led Zeppelin room and it was UNREAL! One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in from the room to even lobby/ hallways.Brooks & Mackenzie at the front desk really made our trip. Took care of us and made us feel at home with whatever we needed! May I add the robes are the cutest. Will be staying again new favorite hotel!!
They say it is the coolest hotel in Boston, and it most definitely IS
I chose this hotel for a super surprise for my son's 30th birthday celebration.
If visiting Fenway Park is any part of your trip to Boston, you cannot get closer to it than staying at the Verb...you can see the Bleachers from your room! So, it is about a 3 minute walk to the park.
I have traveled all over both for work and fun, have stayed in hundreds of hotels and have honestly never, ever been treated as warmly and made feel as welcome as we did at The Verb.
The ENTIRE reason for that is the team.
I made reservations months before, but the pampering actually started the day before I arrived. I received the most beautiful phone call from Front Desk Producer, Carley Williams. She wanted to know all about the upcoming trip and what she could do to make it fabulous, and make it fabulous she most certainly did!!! She went above and beyond in every way to make me, and my son (the birthday guy) feel so, so special.
As you can see in the photos it started with his name in lights when we arrived (totally Carley's idea) complete with a visit into their awesome backstage trailer parked out front where he was invited to sign a guitar, joining many cool signatures.
The royal treatment continued every day, with Carley daily hand-picking albums (yes, vinyl!, there is a turntable in every room!) --she had already determined my taste in music--which I SO enjoyed.
The room was full of personal touches for us, and all I can say is I felt like I was staying at a friend's house, a great friend who was going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and happy.
If you love visiting Boston - Stay at The Verb
If you love baseball - Stay at The Verb
If you love Rock n Roll - Stay at the Verb
If you love feeling warm, welcome and pampered - Stay at The Verb
...and tell Carley that Melinda said hello :)
Hippest hotel experience anywhere!
We love everything about the Verb and consider it the coolest, most unique hotel in all of Boston. From the retro reno of an old Hojo, to the in room turn table and extensive vinyl collection, old rock posters, great sushi restaurant, and super hip staff a stay at the Verb never disappoints.
Excellent experience! We will 100% be back! Shoutout to the Verb Rockstar Team; Ella, Carley, Cisco, Leo, and Tom
My wife and stayed I stayed Backstage at the Verb Hotel on Thursday 8/17 during the Morgan Wallen concert. It was an unbelievable experience and a night that we will never forget!
When I called to book the room, I spoke with Ella Atkinson. She was super nice and very knowledgeable about the Backstage and she took the time to tell me all about it. I told her how my wife is a huge Morgan Wallen fan but that she would be 8 months pregnant at the time of our stay, so she didn't want to get bumped into at Fenway for the concert. Ella shared how each Backstage Airstream trailer has a private patio area that you can the concert from. Ella also described each Airstream and asked which one we preferred. She said that if I give my top three preferences, she would do everything possible to ensure I got one of them.
When we arrived we were surprised to see the hotel sign on Boylston St. had our name on it, welcoming us as the Rockstar of the night. Cisco was our valet. He was very friendly and helped us unloaded our bags from the car. Carley Williams checked us in. She walked us out backstage to our Airstream and showed us all the amenities. When we got inside, there was a gift from the Verb for my wife and I. It was a Victrola Vinyl Suitcase Record Player! The record inside was Carpenters - We've Only Just Begun. A play on my wife and I starting our family with our first child to be born next month. My wife was in tears. Carley brought us back out to lobby and let us sign a guitar in the 1950's tour bus parked in front of the hotel.
We had an awesome night and could hear every song from the concert while sitting in the comfort of our private patio. When we were walking back from dinner, Leo offered to show us inside Tom Hanks movie trailer. It was so cool to see all the movie memorabilia!
The next morning we had complimentary breakfast in the restaurant. Tom greeted us and showed my wife and all the options for breakfast. Everything was delicious! There was a very talented woman playing guitar and singing during breakfast which was a pleasant surprise.
My wife and I had amazing time. Thank you again to everyone we interacted with who made our stay so memorable. Ella, Carley, Cisco, Leo, and Tom. We can't wait to bring our son back some day and show him the guitar we signed his name on!
Memorable stay & AMAZING staff!!!!
Our visit at the Verb was absolutely Fabulous!!!! The hotel was so unique & a music lovers dream. We loved exploring and looking at all of the music memorabilia around the hotel. We came here for a bucket list visit to Fenway & left with so much more! From the moment we arrived & were greeted by Sean. Then Jose came to assist with our USB outlets & when it was going to take longer than expected he brought us water & wall charges to tide us over until he could fix it. Which he did first thing in the morning. Then Gabriela helped my mom when she hurt herself. She brought us bandaids and other supplies for her. Cisco & Morgan helped us to make sure we had a fabulous visit & Leo helped us to make sure our departure to the airport would go smoothly. Everyone at the hotel was absolutely amazing & we will definitely be back again!!!!
Another Incredible Stay at the Verb!
Another AMAZING stay at The Verb! Sean started us off by patiently listening to me rave about our delicious lunch at Nando as he got us all checked in (early too, I might add). Tom, the manager in shining armor, made sure we were all set for our stay. Ryan always greets us by name as we pull into overnight park and his attention to detail and appreciation of cars shines through every stay.
Crisela, always with a beaming smile on her face, blends our vegan smoothies right up and starts our morning off on the right foot. Anthony is a master multitasker and nails our breakfast orders with a smile and an amazing attention to detail~ thank you for the syrup with our to go waffles for our sleeping sons.
Mackenzie (sp) at the front desk has the best recommendations and brightest smile EVERY time you walk through.
So cool!
Rock n Roll theme is so fab at this boutique hotel. Impeccably clean room. Comfortable bed. Choice of albums to play in your room. Updated nostalgic vibe. All of your basic needs will be met. Staff is attentive and so friendly. Everyone seems to be happy working there. Location can’t be beat for any Fenway event. Included breakfast offered hard boiled eggs, freshly made waffles, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. Parking is first come, first serve but they work hard to accommodate all. Not plush but not needed, it enough just as is. We LOVED the Verb.
Great location, price, everything!
This place has it all—and whatever they don’t have, they’ll figure out how to get it for you! So fun, but also not too wild for the families like us who chose this hotel for its location, character, and quality. Pool is well-maintained and the hotel restaurant is a Japanese grill called Hojoko…JJ was an awesome server and the food was delish (read: truffle foam over tempura shiitake roll AND plentiful sake selections)!
Thanks to the Chris and the front desk crew, Crisela and the amazing breakfast team (seriously—you won’t find a better free breakfast!), and Blanca and her housekeeping folks. We will definitely visit again!
One of our best Boston trips
My husband and I booked a room at the very last minute and from beginning to end of our stay it was an amazing experience. First of all if you know Boston you know parking is a struggle. Not here with the best valet service. This hotel is just a whole vibe from the staff to the decor and the rooms and let’s not forget we were literally feet away from Fenway and could hear the roar of the crowd. The restaurant is superb and the breakfast that’s included really hit the spot. Needless to say we will be back.
Van Halen Stay
Can’t say enough good about The Verb - from the valet to the vinyl- this place is going to be hard to get into. We landed into the Red Susie trailer which was well appointed and surprisingly roomy (especially the walk in shower), beverages and snacks included. A far cry from having to ask for purified Hilton water. We dined well at the Sushi place at the hotel and the free breakfast was amazing (huge almond croissant). The staff works incredibly hard and can check people in while tagging bags for the outgoing. We will become ReVerbers within the next month or two - a great reimagining of an old HJ.
Vibin’ at the Verb
Great experience. Unbelievable vibe from the moment you walk in with all of the music memorabilia. Record player in the room and albums everywhere is such a nice touch. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are superb. Then there’s breakfast. Very very good service with Crisela Amador looking after you. The almond croissant was so fresh. The Verb is a very nice holiday. Off to the concert!
Amazing stay even for a late arrival
There’s records and a record player for you to enjoy in your room, what a cool experience! My boyfriend and I arrived super late (1am) after a very long travel day, and I rolled up late (10am) for breakfast. Yoselin & Amelia were amazing for quickly getting me complimentary breakfast, making me a blueberry smoothie and waffle, even packing me 2 muffins to go. Thank you so much!
Above and Beyond!!
The hospitality team at this hotel was incredible! I planned a surprise 21st birthday party for my niece and everyone I worked with at the hotel and the adjoining restaurant exceeded every expectation. The vibe here is amazing and regardless of age, you will have a blast.
Awesome Experience!
If you are looking for a truly unique experience, you must visit The Verb. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Musicians, music lovers, and those who truly appreciate a thoughtfully curated experience will love The Verb. I’m already looking forward to my next stay here!
10/10!!!
First time staying at the Verb. Three friends and I stayed for a concert at TD. We told the front desk we were celebrating a birthday as well, they proceeded to send a card and wine up to the room! Mackenzie, I think her name was, was so sweet and came up to deliver it. Carly was also a sweetheart and helped us so much in pricing, our room, etc. The valet men, Ace and Cisco were also extremely helpful and sweet. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Not only is the staff fantastic, the hotel itself is so cool and designed so lovely.
Kitschy Rocker Fun Near Fenway
I'm now the old guy who gets to say, "holy smokes, this place has changed!"
Went to school in the area 25 years ago and this area behind Fenway has changed so much. And one of the great things is The Verb. From the moment I stepped into its rockstar lobby, Ella and Gabriela welcomed me with just the right energy (despite their computers going down when they went to check me in). Decked out with Marshall amps (including a Marshall-disguised fridge for water and tap for hot coffee and cold brew, the lobby is decorated with concert posters and fliers, including several highlighting local venues (past and present). There are a couple of guitars available to strum if you're waiting, but I used my time to browse their drum, bass, and guitar heavy record collection as each room has a turntable and speaker to revisit your favorite albums on vinyl. The room continues the kitsch with the same multi-colored palate, chaise, drum kit vanity chair, and tiger-striped robes. I also dug the anti-establishment artwork above the headboard.
No complaints on anything. But like many a two story motel, this place does not have an elevator so if you're on the second floor, expect to walk a couple short flights.
Just amazing! This isn't just a hotel-----this is an experience!
We LOVED staying at the Verb. The entire hotel is so well planned to follow through on the music theme. Albums to play in the room, cool music decor in the hallways, a rockstar "theme". But aside from the great theme experience, the rooms are incredible! Our room was super clean, very quiet, had a comfortable bed, offered a great view of Fenway from our window, and had Bigelow toiletries provided. The breakfast that is included is the best we've had included with a stay in years. We offer a special note of recognition to Chris at the front desk. He was so helpful on the phone as we made a reservation and so welcoming upon our arrival. What great customer service!
We hope that we get the chance to stay at the Verb again someday. It's an incredible find in Boston.
A welcome urban oasis with a super cool vibe
First a little context: we have been fairly locked down during the pandemic, wading our way gently back into society over the last year, fully vaxxed yet super wary, and thus riding each variant wave in waste-high water. Coming East for three weeks was a cannonball splash into the deep end, if we are to continue with this swimming pool metaphor LOL, and thus, The Verb Hotel became our proverbial life raft for a few nights, while we visited friends, family and co-workers in Boston. It was our respite in the evenings, after a full day of sun, city dirt and noise— a quiet place with records to spin and ambient lighting to soothe, accompanied by soft sheets and a firm mattress, cleaned with care and attention by Leticia. It was our cocoon in which we awoke each morning, coffee at the ready and a delicious meal down the hall, expertly served with warm smiles by duo Yoselin and Yaritza, which we then enjoyed on the open patio beside the (literal) pool, where I had swam laps the night before at sunset. There was nothing in particular that made us feel extra safe, in terms of COVID protocols; we were among the few masking, for example. But we had plenty of space to ourselves with ample outdoor options and in short, we loved our time here and we felt loved in return. It will always remain a lovely bright spot in our memories from what was overall a whirlwind trip filled with highs and lows. Back in my home sweet home, I am still thinking fondly of our time there and hoping to visit again one day!
My new favorite hotel!!
Chose to stay here because we were going to the Macklemore concert at the MGM at Fenway. From the second we were on the property, the vibe was that we were about to have the best time.
Their staff is amazing! We arrived and were laughing with the valet all the way to the lobby to meet Keya, Cisco, McKenzie, Carly, Joey and the best - Ella!!!! They immediately made us feel like rockstars!
Exploring the neighborhood, we ran into Macklemore!!!!! We came back to the hotel and everyone was so excited for us!!!!The sushi in the attached restaurant (which is where breakfast is), was delicious!!
Inside- The decor is unbelievably cool, authentic. We felt whisked away. The record player IN THE ROOM!!! Coffee on tap!
The late night eats recs from Craig were perfect and delicious.Every employee was happy and friendly and welcoming - I want to work there if everyone is that happy!!! Can’t wait to go back!
